Star Wars Experiences You Should See at Hollywood Studios – Part 1
Until Star Wars: Galaxy Edge opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests still have options to travel to a galaxy far, far away. Hollywood Studios is the singular destination for Star Wars entertainment and rides at Walt Disney World. Here are some amazing experiences you need to see on your next trip!
Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple
This experience is limited to the young Padawans in your group. Young guests who are interested in this experience are encouraged to get to the park as close to rope drop (opening) as possible to sign up. Those selected for the experience will be dressed up in Jedi attire and are invited to fight against the Empire with light sabers in a fantastically entertaining stage show near the entrance to Star Tours!
March of the First Order
Occurring at various times during the day, the March of the First Order is a very general experience, but is one that you’ll love checking out. Captain Phasma and a contingent of Stormtroopers march from the central stage area in front of the theatre on down to Hollywood Boulevard. It’s so much fun to watch the other families part ways in the street and photograph the Stormtroopers marching. The music that is played to accompany the march is fantastic — you will love it!
Star Wars Launch Bay
Located in Animation Courtyard, Star Wars Launch Bay is a destination for both new and old fans of Star Wars! There is so much to see and discover here – guests can see props from the Star Wars movies, shop for a memento, and even see a short film about the Star Wars franchise. You may also want to make sure you bring a few things to barter with because jawas wander around the Launch Bay and are willing to trade with guests! So much fun!!
Star Wars is a wonderful, immersive story and it’s wonderful being able to explore those lands and meet the characters during vacation. Personally, I cannot wait for the world of Star Wars to become even more detailed with the new land, Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge (scheduled to open the Fall of 2019)! What is your favorite Star Wars experience at Disney World?
