Perks for Guests Staying at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels – Part 2

Perks for Guests Staying at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels – Part 2

Disney Happily Ever After

Extra Magic Hours

Disney Resort guests can get into the parks an hour earlier than other guests and they’re allowed to stay up to two hours after other guests leave for the night. If you hate waiting in long lines, this is a great way to head to your favorite rides or attractions and experience little to no wait times.  My family and I have used EMH many times in the past.  We have been able to get into attractions that had longer lines plus the park is less crowded!

Early Opportunities

Guests staying on-property are able to book a few things early, including your FastPass+ reservations! Resort guests can book FastPass+ reservations up to 60 days in advance, which means more chances to experience the rides and attractions you love without the lines. In addition to the FastPass+ system, resort guests also have the chance to book dining reservations 180 days prior to your arrival. Guests can get a jump on figuring out their dining and FastPass+ plans well in advance, making your trip less stressful later!  Planning ahead is the key here!  Even if you do not have your reservations 180 days in advance, there are still many restaurants where you can get 30 to 60 day (or less) advance reservations.

Excellent Theming

Kilimanjaro-Safari-600

Each Disney Resort Hotel provides a unique, themed experience, from the cast member uniforms, atmosphere, music, décor, rooms, restaurants, bars, shops, grounds, pools – everything you can imagine! And depending on where your resort is, you can watch fireworks from your room balcony. Walking around each resort is relaxing too. Some resorts feature bright colors and character-themed rooms and pools, while other resorts are more elegant and can transport you to another place and time.  A good for instance, staying at either Kidani Village or Jambo House Resorts may give you the opportunity to  observe more than 30 species of wildlife that roam free across an African-inspired, 21-acre wildlife preserve!
