‘Once Upon A Time’ Projection Show

‘Once Upon A Time’ Projection Show

Disney once-upon-a-time-show

In this new show at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Mrs. Potts from “Beauty and the Beast” shares bedtime stories with Chip, taking them (and all of us) on a magical trip through the most adventurous scenes from favorite Disney films like “Cinderella,” “Peter Pan,” “Alice in Wonderland”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, and “The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.”

Scenes included are a flight with Peter Pan from London to Never Land and a daring duel between Gaston and Beast. Mrs. Potts and Chip end their bedtime story with a grand finale that includes appearances by characters from even more Disney films.

The show, which was inspired by one of a similar name at Tokyo Disneyland Park, uses projection mapping technology to cover every nook and cranny of Cinderella’s Castle in vibrant images that appear almost three-dimensional.

The show is about 15 minutes and is usually presented just prior to the park’s closing.  I personally just viewed this show and was not disappointed.  It is a must see when visiting Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

As Mrs. Potts and Chip say together, “And they lived happily ever after,” the performance reaches its grand finale. During the grand finale, various characters from Frozen and Lion King also appear. The show ends with an explosive fiery scene.
